What you’ll receive:
A selection of three fabulous bottles from a different Finger Lakes winery each month. We only work with small family-owned wineries who are as passionate about wine as we are.
A monthly podcast featuring the selected winery so you know what wines you’ll receive… and more importantly, to hear the winemaker share their story, their winemaking approach, and their vision for the region’s future.
Invitations to live virtual tasting each month featuring winery principals and a certified sommelier discussing the wines that were shipped to you.
Billing:
You will be billed $89 each month, inclusive of sales taxes AND shipping.
You can cancel anytime, skip any months you wish, or change the delivery address as often as you’d like and gift a particular month’s delivery to someone else.
If you have been billed but wish to skip the month, we will fully refund that month’s charge.
There are no additional fees to modify or cancel your subscription.
The purchaser and the recipient of our subscription must be 21 years or older.
Logistics:
Before the wines are shipped:
You will receive a link to a podcast to learn more about the winery and discover their unique story.
At this point in time, you will be able to keep your delivery on, opt out of that month’s selection, or change the shipping address and gift it to someone else. Once again: There are no additional fees to do this.
You will have an opportunity to know what the wines are before they are shipped, however we cannot make substitutions at this moment.
The wines we will choose will depend on the winery and the time of year. In colder months we will lean towards richer whites and beautiful reds. In warmer months we will feature crisper wines that can be enjoyed chilled.
We may, on occasion, include a semi-dry or off-dry wine. However, our tastes primarily lean towards wines that are dry.
Where can wines be shipped?
The wineries we are working with can ship to most states. Each winery, however, may have different permits. And to over-complicate things, there are active legal cases that are keeping things fluid.
What does that all mean for you? If you are an active subscriber and one of our featured wineries cannot ship to you, we will work with you to figure out a solution or fully refund that month’s order.
The most challenging states to ship wine to are Alabama, Idaho, Kentucky, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Mexico, South Dakota, and Utah.
If you live in one of these states - for the moment, as of November, 2020 - we kindly recommend that you not sign up for our subscription.
Wines will be shipped by UPS or FedEx Ground from the wineries directly. As with all alcohol purchases, a person who is 21 years or older must sign for the package upon receipt.
Shipments may be delayed if the temperature is above 80 degrees or below 30 degrees for a sustained amount of time. If we need to postpone the date of the virtual tasting to accommodate mother nature, we appreciate your patience.
